Johnny R\u0103ducanu (n. 1 decembrie 1931, Br\u0103ila – d. 19 septembrie 2011) a fost un contrabasist, pianist, compozitor, aranjor \u0219i conduc\u0103tor de forma\u021bie rom\u00e2n de etnie rom\u0103.
\nPe numele s\u0103u real R\u0103ducan Cre\u021bu, s-a n\u0103scut \u00eentr-o familie de romi cu tradi\u021bii muzicale de peste trei sute de ani, de pe timpul l\u0103utarului Petre Cre\u021bul \u0218olcan. S-a remarcat ca un talentat interpret de jazz la contrabas, \u00eenc\u0103 de la 19 ani. A f\u0103cut studii muzicale la Ia\u0219i \u0219i Cluj, apoi la Conservatorul \u201eCiprian Porumbescu\u201d din Bucure\u0219ti(clasa contrabas, 1953-1956). \u00cendrum\u0103tor activ al tinerei genera\u021bii, Johnny R\u0103ducanu este considerat un veteran al muzicii rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti de jazz.
\nA fost c\u0103s\u0103torit cu Geta Costin \u00eentre 1962 \u0219i 1970.
\nJohnny R\u0103ducanu a murit \u00een data de 19 septembrie 2011 \u00een locuin\u021ba sa din str. Oltarului din Bucure\u0219ti.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
